Blizzard Update, 12:45pm EST

AccuWeather Regional Radar at 12:35pm.

There are one hour delays in Philadelphia and a ground stop on flights to Toronto at this time. There are many fewer delays than you might expect because the airlines proactively cancelled many flights.

State of Emergency has been declared in Connecticut. Eric Holthaus advises New Yorkers to stay off elevated transportation (including subway tracks) after 5pm because of the risk of getting stranded. NYC has had about .06" of rain on top of an inch of snow as of noon.

On the regional radar, the darker shades of blue = heavier rates of snowfall.
